FLINDER
She followed the boy through the entire mall. He was sprinting away from her and she lost him a few times, but she found him at the parking lot, stepping into his car.
'Wait!' Flinder yelled to him.
The boy, not much older than her, turned his head around and watched her getting closer to him. 'Why are you following me?' he asked.
'You can see me.' It wasn't a question. He looked right in her eyes. He talked to her. How was this happening?
'Yeah, so what?'
'Just look, okay?' Flinder walked to a woman who opened the back of her car. She stood in front of the women, waving at her, but the women couldn't see her. The women just put her stuff away and stepped in her car. Like she wasn't even there.
'Okay. I have to admit, that was freaky. So, what are you? Can I see ghosts now?' The boy asked with a smile.
'No, I'm not a ghost. I'm an Angel. I have given the task to prevent you from doing something stupid and become evil.'
The boy laughed hard. 'You're crazy. There are no such things.' He closed his car door and drove away, leaving Flinder behind with a lot of questions.
Closing her eyes, feeling the power of the stars in her body, she disappears from the parking lot and appears back at the Angel academy. Heading straight to her teacher, she didn't even knock to enter, she just walked into her office. 'Angel Georgina, can we talk?'
'What is it Flinder? Something wrong with your new case?' the old lady with grey hair asked from behind a large desk.
'Yeah, something is wrong Angel Georgina. He could see me. The boy even spoke back to me.'
'Flinder sit down please. You saying weird things right now. Maybe you're having a stroke. Please sit.'
Flinder sat down on an old leather chair. 'No, I'm serious. He even asked if I was a ghost. He could see me.'
Angel Georgina looked at her with raised eyebrows. 'I will call a doctor to look at you. Flinder I know you work hard and train even harder, but you're not well right now. Do you hear what you're saying? Angels cannot be seen by humans. Everyone knows it. It is not possible.'
'But I know what I saw!' Flinder stood up. 'He spoke to me. The boy spoke to me!' Her arms were grabbed by two Guardian Angels, the protectors of the Angels, they pulled Flinder out of the chaire.
'Take her to the doctor please.' Angel Georgina said to them.
'No! Please you have to believe me!' Flinder yelled, but was dragged away to the hospital suit. 'I am not crazy.' she said to herself. 'I know what I saw. He spoke to me, he saw me.'
