Chapter seven

I was heading to -my room?- kinda annoyed at the fact that I had to ask permission supposedly to go on a run with my best friend. That I hadn't been allowed to collect my clothes considering I hadn't brought much and at everything basically.

I hadn't said much before I had stormed out, he was already walking (slowly) but seemed to be getting better. I wasn’t thinking of leaving before, but right now I really felt like chatting with my dad... maybe going home.

I went into the room and straight into the bathroom a hot shower was necessary. I started the water and began undressing myself as I got into the shower I couldn't help but think of what had happened throughout the day. I had met so many people and done so much, it was overwhelming. What did he actually expect from me? I needed answers.

After about 45 mins I was out of the shower it was already seven-ish, I was pleasantly surprised to see he had food brought up to for us. It was steak, and vegetables. He looked at me while I was getting out of the bathroom wrapped up in a towel. His eyes suddenly changed from hazel to dark black and the sudden smell hit me, he was aroused. I looked at him as if I could kill him. I grabbed my remaining pair of pjs and went into the bathroom again. He had just scolded me like a child, did he really think he was getting anything from me?

When I came back out about 5 mins later he hadn't started his meal, he looked down a bit embarrassed and said “Im sorry about before, I freaked out. I don't want anything to happen to you. I really care about you and I want a future with you.” I sighed. “You could’ve at least allowed us to collect our clothes, we didn't bring much you know?”

He nodded sadly and patted the bed again as if calling me closer. I walked in his direction and sat. I started eating and I decided to ask him some questions... 

-what is the treaty about?

He looked down at his food and while cutting another peace of steak he began telling me of how it was set by their grandparents. There was this Rogue pack located in the forest since before they bought land here and when they started building and stuff they were attacked. It had come down to two alphas fighting and that when they set the treaty. The treaty with the rogues was basically that from the packs border line (that we had crossed) it was their territory and from that same spot to Optum Town including forest was Blue moon pack territory. Even though we didn't live or occupy all that land. Those rogues would not set foot anywhere near there. 

The treaty had been kept for 200 years now, did I really wanna be the one that broke it? 

No. I didn't.

I nodded understanding why he had gotten mad. I had endangered the whole pack. I asked him “why did you ask for me to be shown the hospital today? I thought I came here to work”

He looked at me and stuck a spoon full of vegetables in his mouth “why you didn't like it?” Was his response... “thats not the point. I was in a budget meeting all day” he tilted his head nodding while still chewing, “As Luna you have responsibilities” was his reply. I was drinking some juice while processing information. “So will I be allowed to actually work?” I asked. “Do you want to?” “Yes, I think so.” “You can do however you please, just try to keep communication channels open with me love” - I was freaking out. He called me Love!- “Love?” “Yes, do you not like it?” I was smiling “I do, you can call me anything you want” I smirked at him. - oh my gods! was I now hitting on him? Control yourself I pleaded to my wolf it was too late. I was way too close to him and our lips were touching. 

He let go of his plate and grabbed my face slowly making his way into my hair and down my back. I was feeling things I hadn't before and I loved it. I parted the kiss to see this young wolf with a wall to wall smile on his face. He had enjoyed it too. I bit my lips and said wait we aren't done yet. He smiled at me. 

“My dad wants to meet you, maybe form an alliance” 

His face expression suddenly changed, he thought about it for a second. “That can be arranged” was his response “so you told him?” He smiled at me again. I would not dare tell him -no, I got caught in the middle of a lie- so I just smiled “hmm you must really like me then?” I laughed out loud “oh you wish!” Was my reply and with everything going on I didn't want to overwhelm him, so I didn't ask about Johnny. That was enough for today. 

We finished our food and he went into the bathroom turned and on the shower. I grabbed my phone and texted my parents. “Hi dad, I had a good day today. I was really missing you so thanks for calling me today. Im going to bed now, talk to you soon. I love you.”

I placed my phone on the nightstand and wrapped myself on the blanket. I was watching something on the tv when I hear a loud thud. I got up quickly and went to the bathroom and knocked are you ok? He said yes, just tripped over the bath rug.

My heart had dropped. I really care for him. I am his mate and he is mine. 

He got out of the shower a couple of mins after, I checked his wounds and saw that one of the stitches was a little red around, I told him “I need you to come with me to the hospital, this stitch is concerning me” he nodded gave me a kiss and opened his arms I got into them and we fell sound asleep.
