Chapter ten

Leo’s POV

I’ve looked everywhere! Did she leave me? Does she not want me anymore? 

I decide to call her parents maybe she has contacted them.  Emma’s father answers the phone.

-Hello?

-Hello

This is Leo, Emma’s mate. Oh Hi son, to what do I owe this surprise. Have you heard from emma? Is she coming home the thing is she left my office angry at me about nine hours ago and I cant find her. I am worrying. Did she talk to you? No. Let me see if anyone has heard here from her but what happened with Valentina, I thought she was with her. She is but she was busy when she went to walk. Ok I will give you a call back. Please keep me updated. Will do. Thank you.

We hang up the phone. I don't think I have ever been so worried in my life. My head goes to bad places “what if something happened to her?” “No don't think like that.” Jack attempts to cheer me up. “I haven't marked her, and I haven't accepted her into the pack. Otherwise I’d be able to tell if something happened to her or if she left the pack.” “All in due time.” Comes jack’s response once again. 

*My phone rings again* 

-hello?

- hello son, so I spoke with my wife and she tells me she spoke to emma earlier today. She told her you two had a fight but she never mentioned wanting to come home. I understand. I will send search parties to search for her then. If you hear anything else I’d appreciate you letting me know.  You as well please. Of course.

We hang up once again and I look at my beta concerned and a little frightened.

“Jack, something happened to her. Began forming search parties. Ivan will be accompanying my party.”

“Yes sir, should we notify your parents or Johnny?”

“No, lets hold off on that. I have a bad feeling”

Emma’s POV

I open my eyes to face this man to my surprise his face was uncovered. That cant be good. That means he has no plans of letting me go. 

“Stop staring!”

“What do you want?”

“You out of the way.”

“What?, how am I in your way? Do I even know you?”

“Oh then let me present myself, My name is Joseph and I am the future beta of Blue moon pack.”

I stare at him say sarcastically “seems like you’ve been misinformed. There is already a Beta in my pack” (I was being cocky claiming blue moon pack, but it seemed to have the right effect when he snapped and replied exactly what I was afraid of)

“Oh not to worry luna, that is soon to be changed and unless you are planning to mate the new alpha, you don't have a pack”

“Who is the new alpha? Are you a rogue?”

“You ask way too many questions. But don't worry he’ll come to see you soon.”

I do my best not to seem scared. I tell him those chains aren't letting me fix my hair and that I need to use the toilet. He seems reluctant but after a second or two he agrees to unchain me but says he’ll knock me out again to lock me. I see him take a white napkin out of his back pocket. He fills it with what I can only assume can be chloroform. He brings it to my face and I can only hope I wake up before this alpha shows up, I am scared. I breathe in and let go.

Leo’s POV

Four secret search parties have been arranged. I don't know why but I cant seem to shake of the idea that Johnny has something to do with her missing. I don't want to inform him that she is missing, Im gonna play off of his actions. In my search party there is Ivan, Valentina whom I heard by emma’s father has awesome tactical training and I, in the second group there is Jack, Solenna and Lauren who has heighten smell and in the third party there is Zack, James and Mark who I trust enough to not talk about this to anyone yet and in the last party there is only Andrew and Kevin. We divide and group two heads to where the border patrol last saw her on the other side of the pack. Group three goes to the side of the pack and into the forest where I told her she could not be and group four is going into Optum town to make sure she is not at their loft group one is searching the house. Before we head out I go to our room. Her clothe are still there she didn't leave. I look in the mirror and find myself looking at my stitches they all look better including the one that was redish earlier today. I take a quick second to call Peter the Dr that saw me at the hospital earlier today, I want to ask him if I can shift if necessary with that like that. To my surprise He tells me I can but to be careful. Its an awesome thing I am able to heal this fast. 

I change into comfortable clothe and just head out to the front door where we agreed to meet, No matter what I am bringing my beautiful mate home. Its only been two nights but I got so used to sleeping with her and cant imagine not doing it. 

We head out and start searching inside of the pack per se. We go into houses, salute people in hopes that if Valentina gets close enough she can mind link. We go to the park, the hospital we practically looked everywhere and After a couple of hours we all come back defeated. Where can she be? 

Sitting in my office they all know I think Johnny may be involved and Ivan speaks up and says “why don’t you have him followed?” “Do any of you feel up to it?” Valentina, Ivan, Solenna, And Jack all agree to do it and we set up the plan for the next morning. I send them all to bed since its pretty late and I stay in my office. I can only pray that wherever she is, she is ok. I look at the moon almost full and I whisper to myself. “Goodnight love.”
