"I'm just joking, mate. There's no way I'm rejecting you." Michael exclaimed frantically to me when I start crying because of what he just said.
"That's not a good joke, Michael." I rebuked him as I lightly punch him in the shoulder. It doesn't feel so good when I heard him joking about rejecting me, it's f*****g traumatic.
"Yeah! I'm sorry about that, it was so foolish of me to joke around. s**t! I can't believe I just said it, I'm sorry, mate." Michael apologized to me and then he caressed my back trying to calm me down. I just nodded softly to him.
