Homecoming ended up being exactly what I thought it would be. Totally lame.
Dress shopping with Trina was fun, until it became exhausting. The girl was born to shop, but not me. Still, I found the perfect dress at my favorite thrift store. The shoes I got were brand-new, and I was pretty sure I'd be able to wear them again with other outfits.
Getting ready at Trina's with her and Franky was the best part of it all, honestly. We spent the whole day just hanging out and taking our time getting ready. By the time Kieran picked us up, I was ready to just stay at Trina's place and have a pretend homecoming in her living room, just the four of us
