"Dude, are you not taking a shower before the party?" Justin asked me, disgust evident in his voice.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I can't act too suspicious. They'll make me come out if they think I'm trying to skip out on the party.
"I would rather shower in my hotel room," I replied.
"Just shower here," Evan chimed in. "Apparently the hotel is in the opposite direction of the party."
"I don't care, I'll take the extra time just to shower in a cleaner place," I said, turning back around.
Unfortunately, Brett was standing there. Another dude on the team who thinks we're the best of friends. He's a lot more arrogant than Justin
