I stared at Otti's response in bewilderment. She wrote this and then stormed out of the classroom. Despite the teacher being annoyed with Otti's interruption, as soon as my flower was out the door, the teacher told us to work with our partners on our projects.
I looked up at Pierce as quiet chatter started throughout the classroom.
"You gonna tell me what the fu.ck is going on, or is everyone going to let me find out for myself?" I asked him, my voice betraying my anger.
