I had just started to read the long chain of texts Otti had from this private number when Kieran started spouting out orders. I looked up at him to see that he was completely serious. It was a different look from the one I would normally see from Kieran. It's even different from the angry side of him.
This side of Kieran was more controlled with a take-charge attitude. Like a boss, like a person exuding power, like his father. A man that I always admired, but I know Kieran can't stand their similarities. If only Kieran knew how good of a person his father really is.
"Yes sir," Derek replied to Kieran, not shocking me in the slightest.
I knew what Kieran had meant: that Derek was being raised to be his personal secret
