Kieran dragged me past all of our guests. He gave nods and said hello to a few people, but didn't stop to talk to anyone. He pulled me down a hall and around the corner. The noise from the party is gone, leaving everything too quiet.
"Where are we going?" I whined.
"You know you have a surprise tonight," Kieran stated.
"What is it?" I asked, instantly perking up.
Kieran smiled as he shook his head.
"You'll have to wait and see," he replied.
"Is it Otti wrapped up in nothing but a bow?" I asked excitedly.
