I rushed to Ty's room as tears streamed down my cheeks. He has a special nook inside his closet. Mom never let us use it, but I know my gross teenage brother has stuff stashed in there. It should be big enough for me to squeeze into. Hopefully.
"Baby, don't hang up the phone, okay?" Pierce rushed out, trying to soothe me, but I could hear the panic in his voice. "Me and Kieran are on our way. Just.... hide somewhere and be very quiet, okay? I'm right here with you baby. I won't hang up. We're gonna be there in just a couple of minutes."
