"You sure you aren't too uncomfortable?" I asked her.
"What do you mean?" Otti said as she picked at a breadstick.
"Last time you were nervous to let me in here. Even though your mom works a lot, you seem to try to follow her rules. Just wanted to make sure that Pierce didn't push you into this." I said, narrowing my eyes at Pierce.
Pierce only chuckled and shook his head at me.
"Oh, no I don't care about that," Otti said, waving me off. "And Pierce could never push me into anything."
"Pshhh, I'm way tougher than you Otter." Pierce teased her.
Otti scrunched her face up at him.
"Well, it's a good thing that Kieran already told me he'd never let you bully me into doing things that I don't want." She replied sarcastically.
