"I don't understand you," I grumbled before turning back to the mirror.
Pierce pushed off the doorframe and walked up behind me. He stood behind me as I twiddled with my fingers. Then Pierce grabbed my shoulders and pulled them back. He moved my hands to my sides. Then he grabbed my chin and tilted my head up.
"You should always hold your head high. Confidence is a good look on you, and that's saying something, because you've always been stunning." He said softly. "I know that it sounds strange coming from me, but don't let that little voice in your head get to you, Otts. You are so amazing and beautiful and funny and sassy. The perfect package. You always have been."
