"Hah... so, you're on Pierce's side then," I said.
Tyler shrugged.
"I'm on Otti's side," he corrected me.
"Are you? 'Cause I didn't know Pierce was on her side," I said casually.
"Well, he is," Tyler replied, tight-lipped.
I smiled at the kid.
Tyler just gave me a bit more information. Nothing really useful, but I like what I found regardless. I still have no idea what the hell Pierce's deal is, but one thing's for certain.
Whatever is going on, Pierce is doing what he's doing to protect Ottilyn.
"Good," I finally replied to Tyler. "Looks like all three of us are on Otti's side then."
Tyler opened his mouth to reply, but suddenly someone spoke up behind him.
"Tyler!" Otti scolded her brother as she pushed him out of the way. "You could have invited him in to wait, you jacka.ss."
