I smiled as I watched him hurry out of my room, ‘He is so cute,' I thought to myself. I'm glad I was able to talk to mum and dad to give me the permission to take him along.
Mum didn't hesitate and she thought it would be a great idea to have to get close to him and try to win his heart. That was my intention after all. I need these five days to mend everything, it would just be us alone. No friends, no Duke, and absolutely no one to draw our attention.
Dad had made an arrangement with the head of our school informing them of our three days off from school activities and was granted leave with the exception that it would cover up everything that we would miss. That wasn't an issue on my part or that of Damien's. He is smart and he can handle everything that has to do with school
