Something about today didn't feel right to me, I didn't feel like getting up from the bed or attending to anything.
The thought of Damien and Duke laughing and having fun together kept playing in my memory, it was hard for me to let it out of memory. It was already imprinted in my head and I doubt it would be leaving soon.
What was I expecting? Getting flowers for him and pretending everything was alright between us? I wanted to make it right by surprising him, guessed I was the one that got surprised. I knew they were close, but I wasn't expecting this type of closeness between the both of them.
I left the bouquet of roses on the floor when I saw them together. Thane growled as he remembered Duke's hands were on Damien, and Damien was laughing hard.
