It was Monday, another day without Jayden. He had been at the pack's office trying to get one or two things together because he had extended his stay at home for a week, and a lot of work had been piled up for him. I wanted to be beside him to help him with the work but he had told me to stay away and that I would only be a distraction to him. Although it hurts to be far away from him, I understand what he meant, being with him would actually distract him, especially when I'm all he got. I was his everything.
I had prepared breakfast, I would drop by his office, just a quick glance before heading to school. That way, I would be sure he had enough energy left in him.
I had just finished putting on my clothes when Christian walked into the living room.
”Good morning sister-in-law”
