It'd been four fvcking hours and I was already exhausted; avoiding both Duke and Jayden wasn't so easy. I didn't know how to approach them or what to say to them.
I had made sure to go to class late, which was totally unlike me. I avoided eye contact with them, sat at the far end of the class, and immediately after the lecturer was done with the class, I would quickly pick up my bag and hurry out of the classroom, ignoring both their calls.
I had also skipped going to the cafeteria in fear of having to meet them, and so I was always hungry and exhausted, yet I kept my distance from them.
