Chapter 11 [ congratulations you have reached level 10] [ You can choose a career path] [ As the first player to reach level 10 you have a chance to acquire a unique class] [Available classes include;] 1: brawler; charging into battle with nothing but thier bodies as weapons, monks excel in close range and hand to hand combat. The way you charged up to the mage without a weapon shows you have what it takes to become a monk. 2: trapper; they excel at laying traps and formations to ambush Thier targets, trappers rarely fight in close combat often opting for shortbows, or crossbows. Seeing how I killed the scaled panther and many others before it, it's no surprise such a class came up. Ignoring it I moved on to the next. 3: warlord: warlords are the embodiment of m******e and destruction on the battlefield, they are only seen where there is bloodshed. Warlords are proficient in all basic weapons and a handful of high ones. While they are feared by many they are also shunned by many for their warring nature. Warning :Reputation is swapped to notoriety upon picking this class. Damn that's so cool, I don't even remember this class at all since I wasn't the one who designed it but man is it badass. The reputation thing Linda sucked but it's not the end of the world anyways. Reputation was used much like in other games. The higher your reputation the more welcome you were in human domains and even some different species domain. You could get stuff for a better price, buy gear that others couldn't and even marry a noble or something. The notoriety stat on the other hand was given to players with evil classes like assasin or darkmage etc. players with high notoriety were not looked upon nicely by NPCs and life was harder for them in the human domain, and if a players notoriety hit a certain level they would get banned from entering towns and cities. It didn't come without its advantages tho, with a high enough notoriety a player could become the leader of a cult, buy rare stuff form the black market and could even start your own guild. As if the moment I don't have reputation at all because it only appears after a player hits level10 , that doesn't mean they weren't gaining reputation. The system just doesn't bother to showcase most stats for people under level 10( unawakened). With that about of the way I look at the last class available to me. 4: knight of Twilight; a knight that upholds the order of nature, particular night and day. He is one who serves the darkness at night, but serves the light at day. There can only be one in every generation, so know that there is no guidance for knight of Twilight, only intuition and perseverance. I've gotta admit I was leaning towards warlord but after seeing this I'm sure it was meant for me, it's a unique class after all. Do note that unique classes aren't stronger or better than other classes. It just means there can only be one in the entire game. Without further hesitation I picked the 'knight of Twilight' class. [ You have chosen knight of Twilight, you will now face the trial.] My world went dark for a second, when I opened my eyes I was in a completely different place. A temple of sorts I presume. It seems to have been destroyed by time itself. There are three vines crawling all over the walls, there are six pillars forming a circle around the temple, some of them are barely standing while two were crushed leaving only thier based. What really caught my attention were two statues standing in the centre of the temple. No, rather it is one statue with two different people on either side. One side bright and beautiful and the other side dark and equally beautiful. Despite the passage of time the statue seem to be untouched and pristine. I walked up to the statue admiring the piece of art, they looked exactly the same from both sides making them look like perfectly conjoined twins, , with their hands infront or their mouth as if blowing into it. Contrasting yet the same. The statues Started to glow once I was a few inches away from them and they seperated becoming two whole statues. With the seperation both statues seemed to come alive, breaking out if the thier Stony prison and now possession flesh like every other Human I know. But Im not fooled by that, humans just aren't meant to be this beautiful, I don't even want to imagine what a face like this in real will cause men to do, myself included. I am seriously very uncomfortable with stares they are both giving me, you can see I'm shy right now and falling in love, with my own creations no less. Is that normal? They both stretched thier hands out simultaneously giving me a scare, in their palms lay a crow on the dark sister and a dove on the light sister. And yes I'm calling them dark and light sisters, can't come up with a better name. “Choose whom you shall serve, the light”… “ Or the dark”. This test would have made many players fail but it's actually one go the easiest tests in the game. Looking at the light sister and dark sister, I started to weigh my options. Light would give me a sort light manipulation class and those classes were dope. Imagine shooting laser beams from my hands and healings my allies at the same time. Darkness wasn't less cooler at all. I could roleplay as the shadow monarch or something, oh wait I'm not a necromancer. Anyways dark elements are a pain the butt of the enemies. I really wanna be a pain in the butt for my ops. With a that said which should I really pick. I think darkness would be cooler, there just something about it thats really….. well cool, I mean watch some anime. With said I stretch my hands and grab.
