Caden The water hits my back hard as the shampoo runs clear from my hair. It’s hot enough to burn, but not strong enough to drown her out. I press both hands flat onto the shower wall, head down as steam wraps around me. It moves through the room as if it’s trying to drag the memory out of my skin.
