The notes were a bad idea and I can admit that now. At the time, it seemed like the perfect way to get under her skin. To piss her off enough that she’d finally snap and talk to me, because ignoring me? That’s not an option. The more I push, the more careful I have to be. It was reckless slipping those notes into her locker, her bag and even her stupid script. I left too many chances for someone else to find. Which left too many opportunities for everything to blow up in my face and I couldn't have that.
