Briella didn’t wait for them to ask any further questions. Briella eagerly changed the subject.
“Why was Leslie looking at you like that Kristen?”
Crystal turned, eyes lighting up. “Oooooh. Spill it.”
Kristen’s eyes widened. “What? I don't know what you're talking about!”
Crystal laughed, loud and teasing. “You definitely did something.”
Kristen groaned. “Okay, he just asked me to go out. That’s all, nothing else.”
They both eyed her.
“Mmhmm. We’ll see,” Crystal smirked. “Law school reunion turned rom-com.”
Kristen rolled her eyes, but her blush gave her away. They giggled like the old days.
