Chapter 8- Kitty Disaster

"When I had gone to Emma's room, so Cole could take a shower, we had to kill a vampire that had been attacking her. When Cole injected the antidote into her, she was able to stand, even though her legs were -sorry- had been broken. So I wanted to try it, and it worked. Finally, voilà, I'm healed, in all my glory." I explained. Mrs. Tillight (I'm just going to call her Mrs. T.) was looking in amazement at me. She quickly recovered. "I think we should have the same antidote you have remade and distributed to all the students. Can I see you in the infirmary tomorrow after classes?" she asked. I nodded. "Now, let's heal everyone else." 2 hours later, I flopped on my bed, exhausted. The door opened, and Cole came in. "Mom was saying how you healed everyone. I'm not sure if she's exaggerating, or not." he deadpanned. "Oh, she's definitely exaggerating. More like I was her slave, and had to hold down very strong people so they wouldn't thrash." I said, rolling onto my stomach. Cole laughed, tapping my shoulder to sit up. I groaned, but still sat up so he could sit. "Are you okay?" he asked. I snorted. "Okay? I'm- wait. Are you planning to sabotage me?" I asked, suspicious. Cole chuckled. "No. Though now that you say it..." he said. I slapped him. "Don't even think about it," I warned him. "Wouldn't dream about it. But, seriously, are you okay?" he asked. "Yes doctor." "Good. Do you want to try training the kittens?" Cole asked. I nodded. We got up, and padded over to the closet. When we stepped into the closet, a disaster awaited us. "WHAT IN THE WORLD!" I yelled. Cole was equally flustered. "What happened in here?" he fumed. Before us, litter was strewn around, the food container knocked over, water everywhere, and the kittens, guiltily sulking in the corner. "I guess we're not training after all." I sulked. Cole flashed me a grin. "Who's going to get done first?" he challenged. I raised my eyebrows. "A cleaning contest? Done." I said. "1...2...3!" Cole counted, already cleaning. "Cheater!" I yelped, running to catch up. Cole cleaned up the water and litter, while I cleaned up the food and swept the floor. A little while later, I yelled, "I won." "Not really. I just waited until you were done. I've been done." Cole said, teasing me. "No you were not." I said. He chuckled. "We still have to clean the kittens," he pointed out. We picked up the kittens, and brought them to the tub. While washing them, they fought like sissies. Once they were cleaned and dried, we collapsed on the bed. "Remind me to hire a cat sitter." Cole huffed. "You can't. Everyone has to go to class." I pointed out. "I know. Still won't stop me. Anyway," he said. "I'm tired. I'm going to sleep." I declared, already under the covers on the top bunk. "Okay. I'll be down here sleeping." Cole called up from the bottom bunk. He said something else, but I was already drifting off to dreamworld.
