The storm outside was nothing compared to what I felt inside. My heels clicked angrily against the hard floor, each step full of rage. Angelo’s men scattered as I walked down the hallway, but I didn’t care. Let them stare. Let them gossip. I was done worrying about it. Tonight, I discovered the real Angelo.
