Dawn.
It's been almost a full twenty-four hours since I woke up in the secret lair of Mrs. Yvonne Reed. And now, after a little healing, a little resting, and a lot of planning, I lie on an abandoned rooftop with binoculars raised, watching the activity in the Amber City Botanical Gardens below. I'm wearing fresh clothes: a navy blue suit and coat with matching hat and tie. I have a nice supply of new equipment, too, thanks to Yvonne's resources. But out of everything, it's the hat for which I'm most grateful. It's raining, of course, though not bad, and it feels good to have my bald head covered again.
