Yun Fei's POV

I felt a warm lip kissing my forehead and I opened my eyes to see Ming Lan standing in front of me. I arrived home immediately after my meeting with Mrs. Lu Xiao and I didn't realize when I fell asleep.

"Hey, how was work?" I asked while sitting on the couch, I reached for his shirt and slowly unbuttoned it.

"Good. You're home early today. Any problem?" He asked and I became nervous, I'm gonna have to tell him about my new job but I know he's gonna react badly.

"I'll tell you later. Let's have dinner." I said

"But it's 5pm"he said, I stared at my phone and it was 5:24pm

"Oh f**k! I'm leaving by 6pm. I have to get ready." I said before heading to the bathroom door but he held my arms pulling me back.

"Why do you have to leave?" he asked and I sighed. "I have something to tell you." I said and we both sat back on the couch facing each other.

"I got fired from. my Job at Lu Enterprise but I got rehired to work as a .aid in their mansion." I said. I couldn't tell him that I was gonna specifically work for Lu Si Sheng because he hated him. I could already see fire in his eyes.

"What?! No way, I don't want to see you close to that Bastard Si Sheng." Lan stood up immediately and I held his hands trying to calm him down.

Lu Si Sheng is the only son of Elder Lu Yang, he's the heir to Lu Enterprise, he's also every woman's dream guy although he already has a girlfriend Rou Xue who is Young Mistress Lu Rei's best friend.

Apparently, Lan and Si Sheng were close friends in high school but for some reasons, they became worst enemies.

"C'mon Lan, we're not even gonna talk to each other. I'm working for Mrs. Lu Xiao not him." I lied biting my lip a little as he stared deeply into my eyes. "Please let me do this, the pay is good." I pleaded. He didn't look convinced at first but then a grin appeared on his face.
