“Because… i don’t get to go out..” I looked over at Creedence making sure he’s not able to hear me. “I’m stuck at this camp and he gets to go out do whatever. I guess it’s for my safety or whatever. That’s what he says and all. But… but I just want to contribute. I know I could get a job and help us out more so we could stop camping in these woods… and and.. and I’m rambling on too much aren’t I?” My smile faltered a bit as I look away.
But Killian’s smile never left his face. He just sat there and smiled at me making me feel at ease. I think we could become friends if given more time together. I secretly hoped we could.
“That’s a lot to weigh on, but I’m sure he’ll let you. He’s not his father. He can’t keep you here against your will. You’re what 18 now?”
I nodded. Wait, he knows of his father?
“They can’t tell you what do to or not to do. It’s your life, live it. Tell him f**k off.”
Yep that’s it, we are going to be friends. I decided right then and there.
“Thank you Killian. I hope we could become friends. I need people like you in my life.” I smiled warmly meeting his gaze.
“I’d like that very much, Angelina, Was it?” His smile was so bright it could make me melt and bring out any sort of happiness left inside me I nodded.
We all continued to drink and banter with each other. The sun was finally setting and Creed threw big logs that were practically tree trunks into the fire turning it into a huge bonfire. You could hear wolves howling in the distance. It sent chills down my spine hearing how close they were.
“C-careful Creedence don’t make the fire too big now” I said cautiously.
“Shut up I got this you stupid bitch..” he hissed at me. Great black Creed is here. I rolled my eyes at him.
~~~~chapter 2~~~~
“Hey that’s no way to speak to a lady! Your sister at that.” Sebastian spat raising to his feet and facing towards Creedence challenging him.
“What’s it to you pretty boy?! Don’t stick your nose where it don’t belong” Creedence looked down at him breathing heavily challenging him back.
“That’s my—“ he looked at me then exhaled slowly glaring back at Creedence . “She deserves better than that., don’t treat her like your piece of s**t father does” He said sternly. Didn’t understand why he was defending my honor all of a sudden I hadn’t talk to him other than telling him my last name and he was now doing this.
“I’ll do as I please! You’re not my alpha or father” He got in Sebastian’s face.
“s**t! Killian. We have to stop them.” I whispered out loud. Touching his arm I looked over at him. We both nodded in agreement as we rose up and rushed over to the two fixing to duke it out.
“Creed stop this right now” I begged wedging myself in between them and pushing them away from each other.
The smelling of honey and mahogany filled my nose making my mouth water. Killian pulled Sebastian back by the shoulder. They were fighting us trying to stay in each others face.
“Not in front of the ladies” Kingston bellowed out, who sauntered over wedging himself in between. He looked down at me and winked. My face turned red and I looked away from him. Why am I so bashful around everyone all of a sudden.
Vixen came to our aid and helped me pull Creedence from the scene. “Come my darling” she cooed. Successfully doing so, she led him away and they disappeared into the woods. Leaving the rest of us alone by the fire.
Sebastian aura was that of a god, but right now he radiates anger. “Don’t let him do that to you!” He glared at me. “You’re stronger than you think and you don’t have to put up with that s**t. Or anyone’s shit.” His face didn’t change and held all the emotions of anger. He towered over me and his words made me feel even smaller. I gulped my eyes started to well up with tears not dare letting them fall.
“I think she gets it. No need to make the wee lass piss herself” Dean spoke up resting his hand on Sebastian’s shoulder.
Sebastian looked at him before scoffing and turning on his heels to leave.
I was dumbfounded and shocked. Did I get words of encouragement or scolded just then. Why did he care so much. Only to come out of my deep thought when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
“Don’t worry about him, he’s complicated. It’s his odd way of showing he cares.” Killian trying to reassure me. He placed a piece of paper in my hand, I looked down at the paper and it had his name and number on it. “So we can keep in touch okay?” He smiled brightly at me. Patting my shoulder before he turned to walk away.
The air became stagnant around the rest of us as I watched Killian and Sebastian walk toward the cars. Beer cans all around us. Swear we all must have drank 4 cases worth. I finally felt like trash and I’m sure everyone else were drunk too.
Creedence and Vixen were no where to be seen. I was left with Dean, Kingston and Blake.
Blake took this opportunity to saunter my way. He moved sluggishly but with haste sitting at my side and draped his arm around me. I looked up at him and tilt my head.
“Can I help you?” I questioned him raising an eyebrow.
“Yyyou sure cannn.” He slurred some. Lifting my hand to his mouth he kissed it and rubbed the slobber with his thumb. I tried to hold my disgust in. “Your brotherrrr promised me somethinggg and i aim tooo collect.”
My eyes widen and i swallowed the lump in my throat. “I-I don’t know what y-you mean” I started to stutter.
He grips onto my hand holding me tightly, I look around starting to panic. f**k not now. I try to tug away but his grip tightens I’m held in place.
“P-please” my voice cracked but the eyes I’m looking into hold zero remorse. He looked at me cold and dead sending waves of chills through me before he looked over at Dean and gave him a nod.
Dean without hesitation shot his fist into Kingston face knocking the large tipsy man out cold; “MR. MANCE!!!” I scream out he laid on the ground lifeless.
In one swift motion Blake shoved me down onto the log knocking the wind out of me leaving me stunned and the wind knocked out of me. Dean showed up and grabs my arms pinning them down above my head while I gasp for air.
“Get it Blake!” He cheered on. I struggle to fight against him but my efforts were futile. I began to scream at him to get off me.
“Shut up you damn b***h!” Raising his and slaps me across the face. My cheek burned it left me stunned as tears start to run down my cheeks. He tore my shorts off revealing myself to him.
“No! Please stop it!” I begged continuing to fight.
“Hold still damn it! Hold her damn you!” He hissed pulling out his hard length from his pants. Alining it to my entrance he shoves it in with no remorse making me cry out in pain.
“f*****g Crow hurry up!” Dean gritted through his teeth.
“Just hold her-“
Dean let go one of my arms and punched me in the face putting me in a daze. My body limp as he continued to thrust inside me. Blinking slowly everything was in slow motion around me. I saw who I thought was Dean walk away leaving me alone with this monster. Looking back at Blake inaudible he c***s his arm back punching me across the face leaving me slightly unconscious.
Everything blurry I could hardly see or notice how much time has passed but I hear growling and thundering of paws running towards us. A huge blur of reddish brown tackling Blake off of me. I was shocked and confused about what was happening. A giant red sable wolf was fighting a black bear. The wolf looked at me for a brief second “mate” a small barely audible voice murmured in my head. Placing my hand on my face as I’m seething in pain.
Where the f**k did a bear come from? When did a wolf get here? What’s going on? Where’s Blake? Everything was in slow motion around me. I couldn’t wrap my head around any of it. The wolf finally fought off the bear chasing it into the forest. I looked at the beautiful creature in awe as they grew small in the distance. Something about it brought me comfort.
A raging headache wave washed over me giving me tunnel vision making me collapse. Drifting into the darkness that succumbs me.
…..
My eyes flutter open, I slowly rise up from the bed.
“Take it easy there Ange” Creedence rushed to my side.
“What happened?” A splitting headache pained me making me wince. “Where is everyone? Mr.Mance? Is he okay?” I looked around for him.
“Everyone left after you passed out” he said casually.
“What happened last night?”
“Do you not remember?”
“No, or else I wouldn’t be asking!” I hissed.
“We had fun, drank too much and you passed out cold. Kingston carried you to bed.” He looked at me as if he thought I was crazy.
Everything from last night was a blur but I felt something in my hand. I looked down and saw a piece of paper, on it were the words “Killian Spade” and his number.
A smile slowly grew on my face as I held the price of paper while I tried to forget everything going on.
“My first friend” I whispered softly.
