My legs were shaking and I was feeling dizzy.
My vision was blurred, and tears were flowing down my face.
"It can't be. I-it can't be."
The only thing that mattered to me was gone. My safe haven, the only place where I could run to, was destroyed.
"N-no."
The ringing in my ears was making me nauseous. My hands were clammy, and I couldn't stop shaking.
"Sweetheart? Baby, are you okay?"
I couldn't think straight.
Everything was in slow motion. "Luna?"
I felt someone shaking my shoulders, but I couldn't focus. "Luna!"
I snapped out of my daze, and saw Zane holding my shoulders, shaking me. "Z-Zane."
"Baby, what's wrong? Why are you crying?"
"T-they're gone."
"Who's gone? Who are you talking about, baby?"
"Th-the restaurant. Th-they burnt it d-down."
