(Some Years Ago) Kneeling down there under the full moon, Rayne had lost sense of time, not knowing how long he had been kneeling down on the hard earth in the midst of the dead bodies. It was hard for him going back home to his mother’s dead body. Since he ended the lives of all the rebellious wolves, he had remained there with blank thoughts, his fingers still dripping blood. Being a full moon night, all his sentse were heightened and he felt twice the grief. He picked up the sounds of incoming footsteps fast approaching. He caught their scent but still, he couldn’t move a muscle in his body. He felt there was nothing else he could do. He had unwillingly done what the Alpha asked and now he needed to go through with it. But the pack wasn’t the reason he wanted to go through with it. H
