A week later there is a working bee to help Adi and Lisa move in. Cars are loaded up, a van hired, and wedding presents, books and furniture are carried up the stairs. Marj arrives and sets about washing out the cupboards and helping to unpack, and Archie and Bert mow the backyard, trim bushes, whipper snip, w**d and rake. By five o’clock, everything is packed away, the removal van returned, pizzas ordered, and beers handed out.
When Gerardo arrives with champagne, the housewarming party is already in full swing.
