Loving The Envy

Thirteen

Saturday Night:

Envy is supposed to be going on her date with Kevin tonight but I refuse to let that happen. The rest of the week went well and Envy starts her job at the bakery on Monday. I can tell she's excited.

It's currently 8:00 and Kevin is supposed to pick Envy up at 8:30 to take her wherever. The only people in the house is me and Envy. Since Envy insists on cooking some nights Lisa has at least 3 days off a week which I don't mind because I love Envy's cooking and she's a much better cook than Lisa.

Envy is blasting music in her room while she's getting ready.

I have a plan to stop her from going on the date but I don't know if it will work.

I go and knock on her door. She opens it with a smile on her face looking beautiful and happy.

I should be the only one making her smile like that.

*outfit*

"I thought you didn't like your boobs out." I say to her trying to keep my eyes away from her chest.

"I didn't think the dress would fit me like this but it's cute right?" She asks me and spins around showing me the whole outfit.

So f*****g beautiful.

"You know Kevin has a kid right?" I ask her

"Yes, she's a cutie. I love kids!" She says excitedly.

Okay that didn't work.

"You know he's 30 right?" I ask her.

"I like older men." She says with a smile

Damn it

"He just got divorced from his wife of 5 years." I say desperately trying to get her to not want to go on this date.

"I know Armani, he told me everything. I think it's important to get back out there." She says with a smile on her beautiful face.

Okay I give up. This girl is going to make everything positive. I could say he has IBS and she'll say "I don't judge" or "as long as we're near a bathroom I don't mind". She's just too nice.

Then her phone buzzes.

"Okay he's here. I should be back by 11. I think he's taking me to a club and then for food. Wish me luck." She says with a smile and then scoots past me walking out of her room. Leaving behind the scent of her signature Vanilla perfume that I love.

I was going to follow her but instead I turned and just walked all the way to my room slamming the door shut behind me.

Why the f**k is she going on a date with him?

He's balding

He has a kid

He's boring

He's annoying

He's not ME!!

For the rest of the night I wait patiently downstairs for Envy to come back. I don't know what I'm going to do but I have to ensure she never goes on a date with him or any other man again.

I'm not sure if I like her, I for sure don't love her. But, I do realize that she has an effect on me that no other women has ever had. I'm not ready to let that go or let anyone else feel that way about her. Kevin is f*****g lucky I need him as a worker or he would have been either shot or sent away just for asking her out.

2:00 AM:

"Armani." Someone whispers and shakes me. I immediately wake up and look at my surroundings. I'm still in the living room. I must have fell asleep. I look at my watch and see it's already 2am. I look up and see Envy hovering over me.

She said she would be home by 11. What the f**k has she been doing this whole time?!

I quickly get up from the couch and glare at her.

"Take a shower and meet me back here as soon as your done." I say to her angrily and shove her out of my way.

She looks shocked and a little scared but she nods and rushes upstairs holding her heels.

I wait a couple minutes and then go upstairs myself, taking a shower and brushing my teeth quickly. This all takes me about 30 minutes. I put on some shorts and no shirt and walk back downstairs waiting for her.

Maybe 10 minutes after I get down here she finally walks down the stairs wearing pajamas looking scared because I definitely look murderous right now.

She walks over to me and stands in front of me. I quickly move her hair to see if he left any of his disgusting hickeys on her neck.

I see none so I remove my hands.

"Did you f**k him?" I ask her, not wasting anytime

"What? How is that any of you b-" she starts and i quickly cut her off by yanking her shirt and pulling her closer to me.

"Answer the f*****g question Envy." I say to her in a demanding tone.

"Of course I didn't sleep wi-"

I cut her off and ask another question

"Did you kiss him? Did he touch you in any way?" I ask her and now I probably sound crazy but a man needs to know these things.

"No and no." She says getting annoyed with all my questions.

Now I can relax a little. I finally let go of her shirt and she looks at me like I'm crazy.

Oh baby I'm so much more than crazy.

"Can you tell me what all this was about?" She asks me fixing her shirt.

"You can't go on another date with him." I say sternly.

"Wasn't planning on it. We're just friends. However Anex did ask me out and I w-" then I cut her off again but not with words. With my lips this time.

Her perfect, sweet lips.

Surprisingly she doesn't push me off but she's also not kissing me back. I pull away and look at her. She looks shocked.

"What why huh?" She says sounding confused.

"Go to bed." Is all I say and she doesn't move.

"But." She says trying to figure out exactly what just happened.

Okay I'll walk away. So I do exactly that but she follows behind me finally finding her voice.

"You can't just kiss me and walk away Armani." She says from behind me as I walk through the hall and eventually up the stairs.

She follows me all the way to my room.

"Unless you wanna f**k I suggest you go to your room." I say turning to her with a smirk on my face before I open my door.

"Why?" Is all she asks.

"Goodnight Envy." I say and then kiss her one more time.

"Night." She says on my lips. I pull away from her open my door, go in my room and then lock the door.

"That woman is gonna kill me or get someone killed." I say with a sigh but then I smile again thinking about her soft lips.

If things were different she'd be all mine. But they aren't and I have needs. I will be calling Roxanne tomorrow.
