2 Months Later:

It's been 2 months and I've come to the conclusion that Envy is crazier than me.

She's not scared of me anymore, she sleeps in my room almost every night, and she kisses me every morning when she wakes up.

I'm not complaining about her kisses but it's just weird that she does that. I don't know if she likes me or what but it stops today. I'm having a meeting with her right now. She's going on a mission tonight but this time I'm joining her.

"You wanted to see me?" She says and walks into my office.

I quickly pull out my gun and point it at her head. Her eyes widen in fear.

"You seem to have lost all respect for me but let me help you find it." I say to her with a dangerous tone.

Surprisingly she's not crying yet.

"Walk." I say to her and walk near her and shove her with my gun pushing her forward.

"Basement." Is all I say and she stiffens. She knows exactly what happens down there.

She walks to the end of the hall and then to the basement door and opens it. It's dark but I'm sure she can hear the screaming from the people that are in here.

When we get to the bottom of the stairs I turn the lights on and she screams in horror.

Her sister and Jacob are sitting in two chairs tied up. Her sister is missing four fingers and Jacob's face is beat up. Blood and bruises on both of them.

"You see what happens when you disrespect me?" I ask her with a chuckle but she's crying and looking at them.

"I-I won't disrespect you again." She says through tears.

"Good, now say goodbye. I might let your sister live just because I'm a nice person. But he's f*****g dead." I say and grab her making her face me.

"Do we have an understanding?" I ask her with my gun on her temple.

She nods fastly looking terrified of me.

"Good, go get ready for your mission and if it's not a perfect f*****g performance from you, you'll be down here with them." I say and she bolts up the stairs and out of the room.

"I'm not going to kill you two. Everyone would assume it was me. But what I am going to do is sell you. Good luck." I say to them as they scream to be let go. I walk up the stairs and lock the door.

They will be picked up tomorrow.

"Dude why did Envy come out of here screaming and crying?" Enzo asks while walking up to me.

"I scared her." I say with a shrug.

"Why?"

"Because she was getting too comfortable." I say and shrug again and he shakes his head in disappointment.

"You are so f****d up. Why in the hell would you want her scared of you? She obviously likes your crazy ass. She doesn't want your money or anything like that. She just likes you. Do you know that every guy she's ever been with either beat her or cheated on her. She was comfortable with you because you let her speak." Enzo says while looking at me with anger and pushes me out of the way.

She's been abused? No wonder she was seemingly okay with all this. She's used to being pushed around and being used.

Fuck!

Now I feel like s**t.

I go to my room and get ready for the mission tonight. Envy comes down on time and she looks beautiful but she doesn't look or speak to me.

She looks so f*****g sexy and she won't even look my way

"Remember, this guy loves stealing women from their men. Make yourself available to him." I say and she nods but doesn't look at me.

It's a simple plan. Seduce him, get him alone and then we bug his car.

He owns the club so there's no doubt in my mind that he'll find somewhere to take her.

Christian is his name. He's maybe 34 years old. He runs a drug trafficking ring out of his warehouse. We just want information on who he's selling to and how he's bringing the women to America and back to wherever they need to go.

We get to the club and Envy sprays on some of her Vanilla perfume and gets out of the car. Not even waiting for me to follow her she walks right to the doors of the club.

I run a little to catch up with her and then we walk in together. It's a Wednesday night so no one is here but losers. I spot Christian right away. He's sitting with a group of men and drinking something. He's never met me so he doesn't know what I look like or anything about me.

"Now." I say to her.

"But babeee, I just want to let loose and have fun." Envy says and she starts twerking a little.

"Didn't I tell you to calm the f**k down in the car! Shaking your ass in front of all these men like a slut." I say to her and fake anger.

"But baby it's my birthday." She says sadly.

I peak over and Christian and the guys he's with are looking at us.

"f**k your birthday. Go get me a f*****g drink." I say to her loudly as if I'm trying to make her even more embarrassed.

She sadly nods her head and walks away to "get me a drink.". I slightly look at Christian and he's staring at Envy's ass as she walks away.

To keep up with the plan I walk up to some girl and grab her to dance with me. She obviously doesn't deny me.

We dance sexually and then Envy comes back over and she purposefully bumps into me and spills the drink.

"You can't do anything right!!" I yell at her and she starts fake apologizing.

I grab her chin harshly.

"Stop being a f*****g i***t and get me another drink." I say loudly and then Christian stands up.

"Sir this is a drama free environment. I personally don't agree with putting your hands on a female. Especially one this beautiful." He says walking up to me and Envy looking at her as if she's a piece of meat. She looks up at him and gives him her signature smile. The smile that would make any straight man fold.

"Whatever." I say in annoyance and storm out of the club. As soon as I get outside I give my men a thumbs up to track the car and they immediately get to work.

Whatever happens next is on Envy. I only make Envy go on missions if it involves guys I know won't hurt her. Well everyone besides her first mission.

Manuel is sick. He would kill her in a heart beat. That was her test and if she died or got hurt I would know that she wasn't meant for this job.

I go sit in my car and wait for Envy to come out.

It takes her a whole hour to come out. When she does she's smiling.

"What are you so happy about?" I ask her feeling annoyed. When she enters the car.

"Christian introduced me to his brother who is my age. He was so sweet and nice to me." She says and buckles her seatbelt with a smile on her face.

"Of course he was sweet and nice to you, your basically showing off all of your body." I say to her and as soon as it comes out of my mouth I regret it.

"You know, you don't have to be so mean to me. I get it, we're boss and employee but I'm a person. I'm never rude or mean to you. Maybe I overstepped my boundaries a little and I promise you I will NEVER do that again. Just treat me as if I'm human." She says while looking at me.

I don't know why but when she said that my heart dropped to my stomach.

What does she mean by NEVER?

Why did she say it so harshly?

Does she mean it?

All these thoughts go through my head as I'm driving home. After she said that she didn't speak and she didn't look at me anymore.

When we get home she gets out of my car and immediately goes in the house. I trail in after her but instead of going straight to my room I go in my office and call Enzo.

"What?" He asks when he answers the phone.

"Envy." Is all I say with a sigh.

"What about her?" He asks me and I can tell that he's smirking.

"I don't hate her." I say and then he starts laughing.

"Why would you hate her? She's nice, she literally doesn't bother anyone." He says while still laughing.

"Cause she's annoying and she's a crybaby. I should f*****g hate her." I say to him not knowing where I'm going with this conversation.

"But you don't, do you know why?" He asks me and stops laughing

"Why?" I ask him curiously. I wanna know what he's going to say.

"You like her." Is all he says and then hangs up the phone.

Holy s**t!

I like Envy!!

This is not good. Not good for her. Not good for me. Not good for anyone.

With that realization I go upstairs to my room. I don't sleep though. I toss and turn all night long.

I did a lot of thinking and I've come up with a solution for all of this. I have to fire Envy.
