Chapter NineteenPeter rose early, left Julie sleeping in his bed, unlatched the door and felt a fleeting moment of guilt as he found the others huddled on the porch, asleep. He’d dozed off after making love to Julie and it seemed his other guests had decided to sleep outside rather than disturb the two lovebirds. He tiptoed off the porch and made his way to the stream without disturbing his considerate friends.
