Chapter 17
Accepting their invitation for dinner, Rosemary Teagan joined Pari and Campbell on the oceanside terrace of Crown Flower Bay Resort's largest restaurant. Rosemary arrived at the table without jewelry or makeup and her cheerful spirit had been replaced with a grim countenance.
"It was hard to leave my room," Rosemary acknowledged. "But I guess I must eat and I have to set an example for the others. I certainly want to help you solve this. The effects of the tragedy are so profound. My heart bursts for Bruno, I worry how the others will be affected, and the company's top leadership is horrified this may land in the newspapers as a scandal, not just a tragedy. Anyway, I won't burden you with additional trauma and I ask you to please excuse my appearance and sullen mood."
