Chapter 11
While Orion and Salvador hiked to the public portion of the Moe'uhane preserve to call the police and get help, Rosemary assembled Danica, James, and Manami on the helipad. Obeying Pari's instructions, none of them returned to their rooms, touched anything near the murder scene, or left each other's sight.
Instead of joining them on the helipad, Pari wandered through the canyon seeking clues. Searching on and off the trails, around all of the glass spheres, up and down the stone steps on both sides of the canyon, she noted the locations of several items. Pari discovered two flashlights, both of which were either switched off or out of battery life.
