Reaching Wendy Jolley, Spectacular Spectulaire's marketing director, Pari introduced herself by phone, shared her condolences for Bruno's death, and inquired about Wendy's recovery.
"I was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning after a fainting spell in my hotel room," Wendy said. "I've been quite sick for numerous days. But the past twenty-four hours, in particular, have been a whirlwind, on top of the news about Bruno's tragedy. Here, it's been one procedure after another. The bottom line is my doctors say I am fortunate to be alive. What I assumed was severe food poisoning was actually acute zinc poisoning."
