Chapter 2: Female Voice In His Head

1236 Words
“How is that possible? I’m dreaming, aren’t I?” Kimora added and stepped back, almost staggering. Her eyes widened when Forbreth’s hand was raised and a white sword appeared out of nowhere. She screamed and dashed away from him. “Why am I running away from Forbreth? I’m supposed to fight him!” That male voice was there again. “Stop talking in my head! Get out of my head, whoever you are!” she said while Forbreth tried to s***h her in every direction. She was amazed at how fast she was able to dodge it. “This is not happening. This is not happening! I’m not being threatened to be killed by a sword held by a medieval person! There is no sh*tting way!” she murmured and gasped as the sword almost sliced her. Good that she ducked. Or was it her? She certainly did not and could not move that fast! “Is this instinct?” “The f*ck it’s not only instinct! I’ve been training!” That male voice again. She thought they have the same voice at the moment. “Where in the world has my honey-like voice gone to?” she uttered in confusion. “Why do I feel so tall and heavy?” She looked down at herself for the first time. Her eyes almost bulged when she realized she couldn’t see her medium-sized breasts. Instead, she saw a flatter chest that her hands automatically cupped them. “Oh, my God! Oh, my God! What happened to my breasts?” “Why am I touching my chest? Why are my hands moving up and down my body?” Medakkaru asked also in confusion. He began to get irritated as he kept hearing that girl’s voice in his head, but the words would come out of his own mouth. He also did not understand why he was talking to himself like this. It was absolutely abnormal! The only one who could talk to their dragon self was the Supreme Dragon Lord. It is said that it is rare for someone to hear one’s dragon. And Medakkaru was certain that he was definitely not talking to his dragon. His dragon was certainly not female! No, not this one. But why? Why was there a voice he could hear and even move his body in her whim? This is definitely not good! What’s happening now is impossible! he thought irritatingly. “Stop running around, Medakkaru, and let’s finish this duel as soon as possible!” Forbreth growled, slashing left and right and in upward, downward and diagonal directions. He was persistent, and his form was really good. No wonder he was able to get into this brown level. He must be able to keep it from anyone who wanted to take his position. Anyone would be envious with someone who had nine lives, owned a white sword that could make his enemy go back to white level once cut, though depending on which level his enemy is. Medakkru was in green level, earning three hundred thousand points and currently had six lives to live. Being at this level, he could request a duel with anyone starting from the brown level, as long as he had at least three hundred thousand points. Otherwise, he still had to wait until he could gather the required number of points, which the Dacua tracker kept updated in real-time. This was all done magically, as all things were interconnected in Dracmond. He underwent different tasks to get to where he was now. Well, if he was lucky this time around. He had been back and forth from white, yellow to green levels for almost a century now, while his family members were mostly in blue or red level—one of the highest levels. Others were in brown or violet level, which was above average. They had accepted duel requests now and then and were able to remain in their levels, while their opponents were back to white level. But it was different for Medakkaru. He had never been able to get to the brown level, not even once! And he aimed to achieve that today. However, something happened a little while ago while he was in the actual duel with Forbreth. There was a blinding light that appeared when their swords clashed. The next thing he felt was his opponent beating him up as their swords disappeared because of the light. He had no idea what happened next as he could not see anything after that dazzling light appeared from nowhere. He blacked out, and only the deities knew how long. All that he could remember next was hearing a woman’s voice inside his head. She was, in fact, noisy and irritating. And now, he appeared to not being able to control his own body. It was like it has a mind on its own. It was definitely odd! Nothing had happened to him like this before. He was always in control of his body, of course. But right now, it was even difficult to dodge without hesitating. At this rate, he would lose a life if not a limb first. “Why do you want to kill me?” Kimora screamed, while Medakkaru tried his best to steer clear of Forbreth’s attacks. “Shut up!” he snapped angrily, hitting the air with his hands and feet, believing the invisible woman was just somewhere around him. “You shut up! I want to get out of here! Why do I keep on kicking and punching? Oh, my God! I can’t control it!” Forbreth took a step back before he was hit by Medakkaru’s powerful fists. “What the heck’s going on with you, Medakkaru?” “There’s a woman in here. She’s invisible. Don’t you hear her?” He threw punches and kicks everywhere. “You can’t possibly tell me there is already a female who’s in the blue level!” Forbreth looked scandalized, eyes widening. Medakkaru stopped as if frozen in place. “W-what did you say?” It just occurred to him that the highest level of a female dragon shifter was brown. And it was someone he actually knew. Well, except the one that he really knew well. In fact, he lived with her. Medakkaru’s eyes almost bulged when his hands moved of their own accord, to touch his half-up half-down chestnut hair, shoulders, chest, butt and down there. “F*ck!” he cursed while Forbreth looked on while the audience went quiet, observing the scene in the center of the arena. “Oh, sh*t!” Kimora felt the considerably big bulge down there, and her hand shook. “No, no, no, no, no! I don’t have a p—” Medakkaru brought one hand to cover his mouth. His eyes even widened at this realization. The woman was actually inside his body! She screamed in his head when Forbreth summoned the white sword. He had no idea but he was just frozen in place and could not actually move. When his enemy struck his sword, Medakkaru yelled. “Run!”
