Rupert inserted the floppy disk, entrusted to him by Connor, with tired gestures, then pressed "play" and spent hours studying the same image on the monitor, while the reproduction of the movie advanced at a speed of 16x. It was the tape-recorded by the video cameras that had monitored the Nautilus waiting for the launch and in practice, it was an infinite freeze-frame, the only thing that moved was the numbers in the lower right of the screen to inform him that the reproduction was actually going on. Suddenly something caught his attention, but he couldn't tell what exactly, then he rewound the last three minutes and looked and looked again at the tape several times, using the zoom and changing angles until he finally understood what that tiny detail was that had cought his attention.
