He spent far too much time pacing around his father’s study. Ethan already knew about Julian taking Elle to Gevaudan, and making Landry go with them. He didn’t have any idea about the plan that November had come up with for both of them to go to France to help keep Elle safe. Ethan didn’t trust the royal family at all, and if Quentin went with them, they would have all of the Thayer family except for their mother and father. That might not be something Ethan was comfortable with, especially since Noel was his heir. If something happened to him, it could spell disaster for their family.
He knocked on the door. It opened, and there stood his father, glaring at him. “No.”
