Seventy-four:  Deacon Foy  He managed, somehow, not to bleed out on the way back to Crescent Manor. The drive home was kind of a blur. He kept on thinking that he heard Larissa’s voice calling to him but he was sure that had to be him hallucinating. The whole time, all he could think of was Ellery and how horrified she had looked when she saw him. He knew there was nothing that he could do to make up for her father being dead. But he had to make things right with her somehow. He couldn’t have Ellery hating him.  When he got back to Crescent Manor, he was surprised to see Larissa standing outside the main house waiting for him.
