MELANIE'S POINT OF VIEW Today is game night, so walking through the hallway is twice as hard as it is on a normal day. The crowd is nosier as the cheer is louder, more attention is given to us as we walk by, fake smiles and judgemental looks are passed. Nate hands around my waist as he handshakes a couple guys, the rest of the jocks behind us do the same, Loren at my left hand waving her pompoms. I am wearing my incredibly short cheerleading outfit and on top of it Nate's letter man jacket. It is tradition. The crowd wish them a good game, they do this every year with the same optimism and joy but we never win, well at least we haven't won for years now and from the looks of it, we won't win this year as well.
