{22} The ApprenticeSantha tore ravenously into a vegetable pastie and contemplated her day. Biahnd’s need for a healer had permitted only a short and fitful slumber. Rising well before dawn, she’d bathed sparingly with water from one of her skins. Donning a warm woollen dress of sky blue, a pair of grey leggings, and her travel boots and oilskin coat, she’d then ventured out into the markets. Leaving Biahnd behind had been difficult, but better time would be made without having to cart her friend around.
