And so the chase begins

[Lunaria] There must have been about ten of them that emerged from the bushes, and Yula here, for some strange reason, decided to start viciously growling at them. [Lunaria] "Now Yula, I understand that you've gone your whole life running free and living the suicidal life and believe me I have been in that mental state many times however I'm currently in rare mindset of where I value life confusing as it is so why are you dwindling our chances of survival by challenging them whilst we're up against a rock completely surrounded by them?" [Yula] "We need to establish some form of dominance" [Lunaria] "They're double our size dominance where!?" They started edging closer towards us ever so slowly, almost as if they were playing with their food or something, all of a sudden there was faint but sudden scent in the air but disappeared within a split second, at first I thought it was my imagination until I looked at rouges and they looked on guard like they were looking for someone...and that's all I needed to notice the small opening. [Lunaria] "Yula-" [Yula] "I see it." And just like that, we were gone, we zoomed past them, throwing them in state confusion, but it didn't take long for them to compose themselves and chase after us. [Yula] "I will say in this situation, your fragileness is probably what's saving us." [Lunaria] "Again, I'm not understanding your logic, AND QUITE CALLING ME FRAGILE" [Yula] "You're as fragile as they come as your weight grossly affected my size and mass. I feel like I'm back a square one but can never get back to how I used to be, but it's because your so light it's actually made us more agile than what a normal wolf or werewolf is capable of." Before I could ask what the hell she meant, the next thing I knew it she was pulling some free running move. Within three leaps, we were on top of the tress leaping from one branch to the next with ease [Lunaria] "WOAH, if we shifted back into my body, would I be able to do this too?" [Yula] "No, you'd collapse as soon as you start running." [Lunaria] "Are you just assuming that because I'm human?" [Yula] "First of all, you're a werewolf now, not a human. Second of all, even if you were naturally born a werewolf, I'd still say the same thing. The only way you'd understand is if you regained your memories." [Lunaria] "Oh, ok." Either she knows or doesn't know what my condition is and hangs on a second, something not right... [Lunaria] "Erm...so I know we were up in the trees like ninjas. However, those rouges weren't that far behind us sooooo where did they go?" [Yula] "It might have something to do with the scent from earlier, but it was a lot closer. It's best to get away from that as far as possible. " I'm not sure how long we kept running for, but after what felt like hours, we ended up near a mountain, and the trees put us just underneath the entrance to a cave, after wondering through cave and taking multiple twists and turns for about an hour we ended up in a forest again but it wasn't cold, dark and eerie and next to impossible to tell the time of day like the one we escaped from, this one was like an enchanted forest and from the clearing I could tell it was quite early in the morning as the morning mist began to set with fireflies illuminating the small lake in the darkness. [Lunaria] "Surely this is part of someone's territory?" [Yula] "I don't think this area is known to any packs, so we should be safe. You can go ahead and shift back if you want. Just imagine yourself as a human. " [Lunaria] "FINALLY after two whole months, I can see my human form again...ok human...I'm human...I'm hu-" It seemed I had forgotten about the pain I had experienced the first time when I shifted, but there I was a human, and I was small, 5'3 ", human with small build. WHY AM I SO TINY, I stood up to walk over to the lake but instantly fell back down after getting a wave of light headedness, my heart racing like no tomorrow. [Yula] "Take it easy, you're not like me, you need to take things slowly, especially since this is technically speaking your first time walking after being unconscious for goodness knows how long" This didn't make sense. How was it that Yula was able to keep on moving for 2 months with little rest and escape 10 wolves, and I'm here struggling to stand, did this have something to do with the condition she mentioned but she said tge only way for me to understand was that I have regain my memories. [Yula] "Don't worry your memories will come soon with time but we need to deal with whatever that man injected us with in the mean time just slowly crawl to the lake and stay on the shallow side." [Lunaria] "Yh, looks like I'm gonna have to." I slowly made my way towards the lake, I felt weak and pathetic. Why was I like this? I put one foot in the lake, it was surprisingly warm, almost concerning but with everything going I decided to not question and went in to the lake, the water was deep enough that it was upto my neck whilst I was sitting making me guess it was a lot deeper further out, I decided to lean back onto the edge of the lake to support myself and closed my eyes enjoying the warm crystal clear water, it felt soft and tranquil like a warm light creasing my soul and warming it and all the pain and fatigue disappeared, leaving nothing but calm. [Yula] "When you're done shift back, we can never be too careful." [Lunaria] "Sure" I stayed in that lake for about an hour until I slowly got up and made my way to a nearby tree, I imagined my wolfs form and with no time at all I was in my wolf form and it wasn't as long and painful as it was before and after finding a comfortable position, sleep claimed me. *** I'm not sure how long I was asleep for but the time I woke up it was mid afternoon but that not what surprised me as I was more woken up by that scent that was around that had the rouges on edge but it was a lot stronger for me to make out, winter springs and pine woods filled my sense sending electric impulses, what was this. [Lunaria] 'Yeahhhhh, I've overstayed my welcome time to head out' And just like that, I was on the move running through the forest in hopes of escaping whatever the source of the scent was, and slowly but surely, it got fainter and fainter.
