--- Scene: Inside a grand sitting room, Honourable James’ mansion. The mahogany doors slammed open. > “Daddy!!” Ajoke stormed in, fire in her eyes, her heels clicking like gunshots on the marble floor. Two guards by the door exchanged quick glances—but said nothing. Honourable James looked up slowly from his leather chair, a glass of wine swirling in his hand. > “Ajoke…” His voice calm. Too calm. > “What’s going on?! Who the hell is Baggy?! Why is he after Taye?!” She stood shaking—half from rage, half from betrayal. He leaned back, took a slow sip. Then: > “Baggy is my man. And Taye… is none of your concern.” > “None of my concern?! Are you hearing yourself? He saved my life! He’s the reason I’m even standing here right now!” James set the glass down, rising with quiet power. > “You know nothing about that boy. Nothing.” Ajoke stepped closer, her voice trembling. > “Then tell me! Stop speaking in riddles, Dad. You said you sent Baggy for me—not to kill someone.” A long pause. Then, he chuckled. > “You think this is a fairy tale? That street dog you brought into Carlton Swiss nearly kidnapped you days ago.” > “That’s not true!” she fired back. “He was set up. You know it. He didn’t even know who I was!” James stared at her. His voice dropped like thunder. > “That boy… is a threat to everything I’ve built. He and his brother.” Chapter 20: The Man Behind the Mask” Ajoke’s eyes narrowed. “So it’s true. You’ve been hiding something.” James turned his back, walked slowly to the window. > “Their father—Adam—was my brother.” Ajoke blinked. > “Wait… what?!”
