CADEN My days weren’t something I often looked forward to. And I didn’t mean it in the sense that I was depressed or anything of that sort. My life had been structured for as long as I could remember. Academics, training, pack responsibilities. Everything else came second. Or often, they didn’t even matter. But since changing schools. or rather since meeting a certain doe eyed girl, I’ve found myself looking forward to my days even more. It meant I got to see her. Got to spend more time with her and probably make more memories. It didn’t get any better than that. “Took you long enough.” Madok scoffed when I brought back Lassy and set her on the floor. She let out a couple of squeals and hurried over to him. “I need to go now.” My gaze dropped to my watch. About thirty minutes more.
