Thompson is the author of the “Empire and Honor” series of historical adventure novels, which includes Dudley’s Fusiliers, Guns of Sevastopol and Sword of the Mogul. His latest novel, The End of the Tether, is a dramatization of the siege of Yorktown during the American Revolution.
