I unconsciously stopped from walking any further and looked up at him. He halted upon noticing that I wasn't by his side anymore and glanced at me with great confusion and curiosity in his eyes.
I just can't believe what he just said.
Did I really make him happy with just that? Being beside him all the time? Even with all the horrible things that I did to him? It may not be a big deal for some but it is already for me.
Making a distant and cold-blooded Neal, happy with just a simple gesture? I never thought of that. It's totally new and thinking about what he said over and over makes my heart beat crazily.
