Stupidly, Javi rushed towards me, and I ran. A shot rang out as he threw himself in my direction, and I ducked, looking up to find Giovanni wrangling with the one of the gunman on the other side of the large room, his face flushed, his grunts loud as he attempted to throw the man to the ground while other two jumped on him.
The sound reverberated, and the slam of skin against skin, knuckle against nose, produced a concerto of crunching noises, sick and sadistic as bone met brawn and everything in-between.
