Disbelief

Aerabella and Loril were still so weak that once they were comfortable on Lionels and Kynes backs they were fast asleep. "So what's her deal? you're the only one who's talked to her." Freyah asked Kyne. "There is no deal, she's weak and needs help, help we can provide her." Kyne wanted to be a little farther away from the kingdom before any of them found out who Aerabella is. If they ditched her in fear before they got far enough Aerabella would surely be captured again. He knew his sister would understand, Lionel was obliged to stay by his side, but Freyah and Fix could simply split and go their seperate ways. He liked having them as part of the team, but also knew if he didn't help Aerabella his father would kill him. he still spoke of Aerabella even to this day and this girl was the exact description he always gave. "When she's feeling better we can ask her more, but I want her to rest for now." Kyne said. "She's from the castle." Loril mumbled. She had woken up a little and heard part of their conversation then fallen right back to sleep. Both Freyah and Fix looked to Kyne. "Can this at least wait until everyone is awake?" Kyne asked. Freyah stopped in her tracks and shook her head. "No, if you know something you need to tell us now. I'm not going another step until I know what kind of danger this girl could be putting us in." "Her name is Aerabella and she is the not so dead princess of The Six Rivers Kingdom" Kyne said. "We are taking Unwins daughter to Haven!?" Freyah hissed. "No, we are taking King Orson's daughter to my father."Kyne replied. "Kids, don't fight. We should take her to her father first though. As much as I think King Jaxiel would love to see her, her father needs her more." Lionel said. Everyone's jaw dropped. King Orson was a tall tale as far as they were concerned. There were men who fought in his name, but he had not been seen himself since The Fall. Only a hand full of guards and Jax were survivors of that night some 30 odd years ago. "No way. I refuse to believe this!" Freyah said. "I was a guard that night. I'm the one who saved your father." Lionel said to Kyne,"If she's here now, that means it's time to set the war into motion." "Where is her father then?" Fix asked. "He is also west. Him and Jaxiel have kept in touch and have been working towards the same goal. It seems fate wanted us all back in one place." Lionel laughed, something he rarely did. Aerabella slept the rest of the day except for when they woke her up to eat and drink. she was feverish and sweaty. Everyone was worried about her. As they made camp for the night Kyne laid Arabella out on his sleeping mat and Lionel laid his out for Loril. Aerabella and Loril both slept seemingly soundly. Near dawn though Aerabella began to fidget and move. She got worse as the surise approached before she finally bolted awake and directly into a defensive position. She looked around the camp, clearly not seeing what was really there, and lunged at Kyne with enough force to knock him over. "Bell calm down" Kyne said scrambling to his feet. the others started to stir as Aerabella once again threw herself forward. she grabbed Kyne by the arm and threw him over her shoulder. Kyne landed in his back hard and had the wind knocked out of him. Lionel came up from behind her and pinned her arms at her side. Aerabella screamed and struggled to get away then finally her eyes started to clear and she came out of her sleep state. She immediately relaxed and started to cry. Lionel wrapped her into a hug and she accepted it. Aerabella didn't know how much she missed an affectionate touch until just now. Now she longed for her mother and father. "It's going to be alright little one," Lionel said, "You'll see your father soon enough." Aerabella pushed away from Lionel and looked him up and down,"My father is dead."
