The familiar view of Forbes Park, the village where the Ledesma estate was located, made Amy's heart flutter. As hard as it was to believe, she did kind of miss it. For the longest time, she refrained from being too fond of the place, since she never felt really welcome here. It seemed that being away from it for one week made her grow fonder of it. She had called her brother early that morning to tell him that she was ready to go back to the estate. Arthur seemed delighted at least. Then he went on to ask her if Jensen did anything that could hurt her, the same question that he asked her the past few days when she contacted him as he instructed her before he left.
