One week later in South Carolina
Maya was headed to the meeting room where she would meet many important people. She was not nervous, or even scared, but intrigued as to why her. As she entered the room, she was greeted by many people. The president came and stood in front of her and shook her hand and offered for them to all sit down. She was then explained the situation and was immediately offered the position as Captain, and she accepted it, only if her husband was removed as a target and the agreement was made. She signed all necessary paperwork and ensured that the target on her husband was gone, and it would be announced that it was, and so it was done. She was officially Captain Voss of a special Ops team.
Her lieutenant
Maya went to a federal building where she was met by an official who introduced himself as lieutenant Camden and would be with her during the interview portion for her new team. As they made their way down the hall, she spotted the possible contenders for her team, but her gaze stopped on one particular person. A very large, tall black man that just looked liked he was not one hundred percent with everyone in that hallway. Maya pointed at him and said she wanted to talk to him first and then proceeded to walk into the interview room. After a few moments of waiting, officer Anderson was brought in and was informed to sit across from her and he did just that. The door was closed, and the man was nervous. Maya looked at him as they sat in silence and asked one question.. Will you protect me with your life? Officer Anderson looked straight at her and said yes. That was all Maya needed. There was no hesitation in his words or his expression. She said, Thank you for coming, and just like that, the interview was done. Lieutenant Camden came in and was utterly surprised by how short the interview was. Maya stood and said she was done and that she wanted Officer Anderson as her lieutenant and would look elsewhere for her team.
Grayson Anderson
Grayson made his way home and was in shock at how the interview went. Everyone at the station mocked him for making an attempt at this interview. He walked into his home and was greeted by his wife Maggie. She asked how it went with a huge smile, and he just looked at her and said.. She only asked me one question and ended the interview. After a few minutes of talking with his wife, the phone rang. Grayson answered it how he normally did as Officer Anderson. He was in absolute shock because he was just informed that he was being fired from the department because Captain Voss wanted him as her Lieutenant. He hung up the phone and told Maggie, and she jumped for joy! In four days, his training would begin with Captain Voss.
